As we announced, Loop Sports Management, Inc. invited one of the greatest Japanese point guard Narito “Nari” Namizato to LA for making his dream happened; being a NBA player. He is taking workouts under the great trainers in LA as well as playing against young talented players by playing at the Drew League and other games.
Since Nari started workouts on Monday, he has already been doing workouts with many players and trainers. In early mornings, he joined Billy Knight Fitness at Manhattan Beach which is hosted by the team leader of the LA Loop, Billy Knight.
Right after the beach training with Billy, Nari had a workout with LA Loop members under Keion Kindred who is the head trainer of C.L.C. Basketball Training and the guest trainer of the Loop Basketball Clinic which was held in Japan last year.
Keion mentioned about Nari;
“Narito is a very skilled young talented point guard. Very agile with the ball and lightning fast in transition. Can score from the perimeter and off the dribble. Has a flare for the dramatics and entertains every time he is on the court.”
Keion also indicated that Nari has a chance to be a NBA player if he can be known enough in the US basketball scene.
Today, Nari had a training which is called “Baby Core Training” by a performance coach of LA Loop Yuta Imada. Yuta assessed Nari’s physical performances and checked where Nari has to train for bring out his 100% performance.
After the workout, Yuta said;
“Nari has a great build and has both strength and flexibility. He understands the very detail of each training and he can perform them immediately after listening the instruction. Not only his physique, but also his attitude toward taking care of his body and training impressed me.”
Great athlete never stop. In the afternoon, Nari joined pick-up games with his former teammate at Tochigi in Japan, Ken Tanaka. He performed well against young American players.
Nari is getting ready for playing against top American players. We are very looking forward to see how he will play in one of the greatest pro-am league in the US, the Drew League on this Saturday!
