Last month, we announced that the first NBL Canada’s Japanese basketball player, Seiya Ando, had been invited for the invitational only tryout for Los Angeles D-Fenders owned by Los Angeles Lakers. In order to achieve this young athlete’s ultimate goal; “Playing in NBA”, Seiya Ando has been focusing on playing in the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) that is the gateway to NBA during this summer.
Since then, he joined invitational only tryouts for
– Bakersfield Jam (Phoenix Suns)
– Texs Legends (Dallas Mavericks)
– Reno Bighorns (Sacrament Kings)
Also, he participated a private workout for Austin Spurs (San Antonio Spurs). Through the tryouts and workouts, Seiya has showed his skill and built up his great reputation for team, coaches, and other players.
And finally, Seiya Ando had the chance to enter the 2015 NBA Development League Draft. You can check the entire list of the eligible players for the NBA D-League draft at League.NBA.com. This draft will take place on Oct. 31 at 2:00pm (ET). You can check the live update on the NBA D-League’s website or through NBA D-League App (Android/iOS).
